You can’t sit on a bonfire and enjoy the heat without _____

There’s a story of a man who went to a primitive village to teach locals how to make fire with 2 sticks.

By the time he left the village, these people were extremely thankful, as they were able to use the 2 sticks to make fire for their everyday needs – to cook food, make warmth, and even to ward-off wild animals at night.

The man then went on to another remote village with the same mission of teaching the locals how to make fire with 2 sticks.

Unfortunately, when the man left the village, the locals put the sticks inside a box, and placed the man’s picture on top of the box. Then whenever the locals would pass by that box, they would put their hand on their chest and bow, as a sign of respect.

But the thing is, they never used the sticks for what they were meant for – to make fire that will help them with their day-to-day needs.

You see, in life, there are people whom you may look up to and learn from. But unless you apply those learnings to help you improve your quality of life, then nothing will happen.

Yes, you will still look up to and respect the person who shared those lessons, but without applying any of those learnings, do you think you’ll see any improvement from your current situation?

If you want to find out more about how to turn what you learned into success, I wrote an article about it: How to turn Data into Wisdom and ultimately into Success.

My mission, more than just to teach you high-income skills that can help you in your career and take your business to the next level, is to help you get to your desired results.

But if you’re just here to just learn, without taking action, then you’re in the wrong place.

You can’t sit on a bonfire and enjoy the heat without putting in the firewood.

There are 3 types of people:

  1. Those who make things happen
  2. Those who watch things happen
  3. Those who wonder what the hell happened

Which one are you? If you are a person who takes action, then here are 2 ways I can help you start:

What did you learn that apples to you? What will you implement moving forward?
